I would say first my eyes of course, and then inmediately my ears and nose.First I see what the hotel can offer me by its interior, then I hear if it transmits me peace and then I smell if it's clean!
Just like Robin, Lorena & Bart-Jan, I must say my eyes is the first sence I use but after just seeing the hotel, I cant identify an experience. Therefore I would use the sence; personal feeling. I mean how I feel about the hotel and its aspects.
As chefs boast about food to make as attractive as possible & once i heard it that ....IT"s NOT OUR TOUNGUE WHICH TEMPTS FOR A GOOD TASTE BUT ITS OUR EYES WHICH ARE ATTRACTED TO CUISINE ON PLATTER....
Thus,it is a fact "what we see is what we belive"
However, marketers try to navigate our other senses as well & interstingly a busy city hotel might grab the attention of our eye balls just because it has fablously designed foyers.

Eyes say it all!
When entering a hotel.. well to avoid bumping into something I guess I have to say my eyes... ;-)
But all are important for me to experience, including my "sixth"!

At normal conditions for my other senses, my eyes are the first to explore the surroundings.
But when a fitting, nice smell and matching music would reach me while entering the hotel, the experience would definitely be enhanced.
